The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is designed to be a catalyst in the development of the Village's downtown district. The DDA provides for a variety of funding options including tax increment financing mechanism, which can be used to fund public improvements in the downtown district, and the ability to levy a limited millage to adress administrative expenses. The Authority provides a written Annual Report to the Village. The Village Council appoints members to the flexible (5 to 7 persons) Authority. Downtown Development meetings are held on the last Thrusday of the month at 5:00 pm.
