Marina Commission meets at the Village Office
As needed basis - 2nd Tuesday of the Month
The role of the Marina Commission is to provide oversight over the operations of the Village Marina. The Commission is charged with setting policy, establishing procedures and regualtions, monitoring the Marina's budget, and creating an environment that builds a positive customer service ethic of the Marina staff. While the Village Manager retains responsibility over the daily operations of the Marina and retains supervisory responsibility for the Marina Staff, the Commission makes authoritative recommendations to the Village Council regarding the hiring of staff, changes in fee structures, planned development of the Marina, changes or upgrades to the structures, as well as the overall operations of the Marina. The Commission provides a written Annual Report to the Village. The Village Council appoints members to the seven-person Commission. The Marina Commission meetings are held at 5:00 pm on the second Tuesday of the month.
