I-SPY DRIVE-BY:  Starting on December 6th and going through Christmas! Pick up a map at local businesses and drive around the village to find the decorations on the map and when complete take a picture down in the bus by RICC park.  "Like" and follow on Facebook at "I-Spy Drive-By Ontonagon Village Christmas Light Hunt".  The I-Spy Drive-By group will be driving around looking at awesome decorations to add to the hunt between Thanksgiving and Dec 5th.  The map will be ready Dec 6th, just in time for Hometown Christmas.  Let's decorate! 

CHRISTMAS LIGHT CONTEST - sponsored by UPPCO.  Categories:  Residential (within 10 miles of Village), Traditional or Griswold (Excessive Lights), Business Inside/Outside.  Register by 12/5 at 1:00pm. No fee.  Drop off at Y101 Radio Station or Annette Trail, 281 Tamarack Lane, Ontonagon.  Judging will Friday 12/6.

WEDS. DECEMBER 4TH AT 6:00pm - Ontonagon Township Library; Christmas Facts & Fiction: Part 11.  Presentation by Bill Chabot on how holiday traditions began.

7:00PM - Ontonagon Theater of Performing Arts Christmas Concert.  "Like" and follow on Facebook "Hometown Christmas Concert". 

7:00-10:00PM - Youth Christmas Dance, grades 6th-8th, 100 Cane Court, Ontonagon.

9:00-12:00pm - Midnight High School Tinsel Tournament, Ontonagon Area School cafeteria

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7TH EVENTS:

10:00am-3:00pm - Christmas Craft Fair - Ontonagon Area High School

10:00am-3:00pm - Downtown 5-hour Shop Local Sale at local businesses!  See the flyer or visit the facebook page to see all business specials!  Shop locally!

11:00am-2:00pm - Children's Time; crafts, cookie decorating & games, Holy Family Catholic Church.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.

3:00-9:00pm - Reindeer Run (Poker Run); 3-5pm registration at VFW.  Return unopened envelopes to VFW by 9pm; $10 fee; limited to 120 participants.

10:00am-4:00pm - OCHS Museum Open House.  Gingerbread House contest display & voting for People's choice award.  

6:00pm - Spielbaurer Fireworks at Marina Park.

9:00-12:00pm - Snowball dance at Eagles - music by SPUN.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 8TH EVENTS:

10:00am-12:00noon - Cookie by the Pound - Holy Family Catholic Church.  Free coffee.  

5:00pm - Free hot chocolate at The Squeeze on Main.

5:30pm - Parade on main street.  5:00pm lineup on Parker Avenue at the old elementary school.  All categories.

VISIT WITH SANTA!  Following parade until 7:30pm at the Fire Hall.  Event winners will be announced after the parade at the Fire Hall.
